MediHerb Ginkgo Biloba contains flavonoids, lactones and other phytochemicals to assist in peripheral circulation. This product is standardised to tcontains 9.6 mg per tablet of ginkgo flavonglycosides to ensure optimal strength and quality.

Ginkgo is a potent inhibitor of the pro-inflammatory compound platelet activating factor (PAF) and has been shown to improve peripheral circulation and cognitive function.

Regular supplementation with MediHerb Ginkgo Biloba has shown to:

  • May aid or assist peripheral circulation
  • Helps improve walking distance by maintaining peripheral circulation
  • May assist in the management of tinnitus
  • Enhances flow properties of blood
  • May assist in the improvement of the daily symptoms of mild cognitive deficit in normal elderly people
  • May assist cognitive function in normal healthy people
  • Support healthy eye function


Adults and children over 12 years: Take one tablet three times daily.


Contraindicated in patients taking warfarin unless under close supervision to alter doses appropriately.

Caution in patients taking aspirin, haloperidol, nifedipine, lipizide or metformin (at doses greater than 1 g/day). High doses of standardised Ginkgo (50:1) extract (>280 mg/day, equivalent to more than 14 g/day of dried leaf) may interact with benzodiazepines, omeprazole and tolbutamide. Reduce dose of haloperidol or metformin if necessary in conjunction with prescribing physician. Discontinue 7 days prior to general anaesthesia.and relieve stress of study or work.
